Wheel Throwing for Intermediates, Fire Arts Center
Tuesday 5:30-8pm, Sept 16-Nov 4 (8 weeks)
This intermediate class will strengthen your foundational wheel-throwing skills while introducing exciting new forms like lidded vessels, pitchers, and vases. Join me to build confidence at the wheel and explore techniques that inspire you. The class is designed to accommodate a range of skill levels, with a flexible curriculum that adapts to student interests and individual projects.
Figure Drawing Workshop, The Maker’s Space
Second Tuesday of the Month, 6pm-8pm
Join an all-levels opportunity to draw a live model! During the session, the model will hold a variety of poses for differing lengths of time, and attendees will be able to capture them creatively. Our model will have bathing suit/underclothes coverage to allow for kids age 10+ to join with a guardian. There will be brief instruction at the start of each session with tips and tricks for improving your figure drawing, but this is primarily a chance to practice and improve your skills.
